2021 Fall Recruitment

"Sisterhood Makes Us Stronger "

Value-Based Recruitment

At UC Irvine, we host a Values-Based Recruitment. In doing so, Potential New Members, or PNMs, can align their personal values with the core values of each chapter. This creates stronger connections between women in each chapter and a chance for PNMs to have meaningful conversations during recruitment. We encourage PNMs to find a chapter whose values are similar to their own. Through this process, we hope that PNMs will find their home away from home!

A Letter from the Panhellenic Recruitment Team

Dear Potential New Member,

On behalf of the entire Panhellenic community we would like to extend a warm welcome. Everyone on our team can remember a time when we felt the nerves and excitement of going through the recruitment process. While it may seem scary at first the support system we have all gained from the experience and the community is overwhelmingly comforting. With so many incredible driven and passionate people who make up our community there is a home for anyone who is interested in joining one of our 9 amazing chapters. We welcome you to come meet us week 0 and while we don’t know if recruitment will be held virtually or in-person there will still be just as many opportunities to get to know our chapters.

As you go through the recruitment process, we encourage you to keep an open mind and focus on what aligns with your personal values. Allow yourself to make important decisions, remember this experience is all about you! Ask yourself which chapter you can see yourself eating with, living with, and staying up till 4 in the morning talking with. Focus on finding a strong support system and people you can make life-long friendships with. Reflect on what values matter most to you and don’t forget to have fun! The Panhellenic community cannot wait to meet you.

With Panhellenic Love,

Darian, Brittany, Andrea, Laney, and Ally
